arrogant gambler; but soon discovers he is not the cad she believed him to be. Though
secrets and fierce pride threaten to keep them apart, their paths are inextricably woven
together. Will they overcome their stubbornness and confess their love for one another?
This compelling story is filled with depth, and rich detail of 1800’s England, bringing to
life the society intrigues of that time. Using realistic dialog and mannerisms, all the
characters are expertly brought to life. I highly recommend this exciting and endearing
story to those who love historical romances.
