Pearl Frost has led a difficult life, but through all the things life has thrown at her she has managed to remain kind and virtuous. She is a hard worker and she is good at her job as a housekeeper and cook at Bighorn’s rooming house where she lives with seven very unique miners. Pearl’s life has always been very ordinary but she is more special than she realizes.
Justin Prince has a healthy appreciation for the fairer sex. He is taken with Pearl the first time he sees her but the beautiful young woman refuses his advances. Justin is forced to move on as he has an important job to do for the King of the coal mines but Pearl stays on his mind.
Pearl has no idea that she is at the center of a storm or that her life is about to be turned upside down. Someone who is jealous of her innocence and beauty is determined to destroy her by taking her most important asset her reputation.
The Passions of Pearl by Angela Caperton is a fun and extremely erotic retelling of a classic fairytale. I had a great time rediscovering the story while also getting to know Pearl and the other characters. I really enjoyed the author’s descriptions of the characters. This story made me laugh in several times and it is also burning hot. I really enjoyed following Pearl on her sensual journey of discovery.
