Contemporary Romance, Red Hots!
Rating: 5 Cups
Bryce Schoene is a plus-sized beauty who has the hots for her next-door-neighbor and artist G. Diaz. However, Bryce has low self-esteem relating to her size and does not think her hunky neighbor could possibly be as attracted to her as she is to him.
G. (Walter) Diaz has had his eye on Bryce for some time and, although she does not know it, she has starred in a few of his fantasies. So much so that he wants to paint her in the nude. He has been trying for months to get his neighbor to do more than give him a shy smile and say hello.
When a woman shows up at Bryce’s apartment claiming to be a Muse in need of a break, all hell breaks loose. By the time Bryce is able to cut herself out of the toga and bracelet the Muse forcibly dressed her in, she finds herself on her luscious neighbor’s patio buck-naked! Little does she know this could be the beginning of more than just a hot weekend with her dream man. While Bryce and Walter certainly hope it will be more than just a hot weekend, Walter’s vicious socialite mother has other ideas. Will the couple allow her to destroy what they have found?
Ms. Vremont creates an emotionally and erotically stimulating book with The Reluctant Muse. The sex is scorching, but so caring this is the real draw of the story. These two are so incredibly real they nearly jump off the pages. The second Muse who steps in to help Bryce is laugh-out-loud-funny! Having grown up in a family where those who were heavier were made fun of, I found myself having no problem relating to Bryce, having been there myself. I cannot wait for the next winner from this author!
