She has to find out who killed her best friend. In no time, she has hitmen on her trail, along with a handsome DEA agent; a man not only claiming to be her ally, but capturing her heart at every turn. Can she really trust him? DEA Lucas McAllister is hot on the heels of his sister’s killer. When he finds her, he plans to haul her back to New York. Something tells him that she is innocent but he needs more than just his gut instinct talking to him. Can he actually form an ally with her to help find his sister’s real murderer or has his heart already seized a hold on her that he cannot release? Trust Me is a non-stop roller coaster ride that I could not put down. Thrills, chills, and action are top-notch on every page. I laughed out loud at some of the banter between Max and Lucas. This story reminded me of the Mickey Spillane movies, even though it was quite the opposite; Lucas was laid back in his conversation with her. I loved everything about the characters. They interacted in everything they did; whether in working together to find a killer or finding their hearts. Ms. Somers has written an incredible story with intense, gripping action. It is mesmerizing with its non-stop twists and turns. Good banter and enormous energy, this is a clever, well-written book. Fast paced with an adrenaline rush all the way to the last page. Sydney Somers is a name to keep an eye on. You can not go wrong with one of her books. Cherokee Reviewer for Karen Find Out About New Books Reviewer for Coffee Time Romance |
