Greta is on the brink of securing freedom for herself and Tess when she meets Aaron and recognizes in him the same hypocrisy and judgmental attitude of other clergymen of her acquaintance. Instead of recognizing her need for help, he condemns her as a harlot. Later, he regrets being so callous, but before he can apologize and offer help, both are murdered. The voyage begins. Can the two let go of all the words, concepts and beliefs that they thought in life the ‘all’ and accept the peace that comes from merging with the universe? If they do not, what will become of their souls; will they arrive in heaven or remain in limbo? How will Greta save Tess from Marshall before moving on?

Ms Nappier’s interpretation of life after death is enthralling.  The theory presented is totally acceptable to questing minds as a valid possibility. This book is also a murder mystery in that Greta and Aaron feel compelled to solve their murders and put Marshall out of business before moving on. Ms Nappier has handled the dual genres of this book, the mystery and the paranormal, beautifully. I thoroughly recommend this book!
