Rachel Alexander has a way with magic that makes her excellent at finding mystical objects. When she encounters Morgan Gregory and his hidden powers, the combination is disastrous and fatal. Now, after twenty plus years, the lethal duo is understandably leery of the outcome

Morgan Gregory, a Harvard anthropologist is content to repress his magic while studying ancient little known cults. Needing to finish his latest book on The Order of Baale’n-Duor and unable to decipher three crucial lines of text, he is directed to the Antiquarian Alma Spencer. The antiquarian turns out to be none other than Rachel and these two are like a vinaigrette, good together but unable to stay mixed for long. Will their mixing turn toxic?

Having decided to find the secret to the L’ixre Risrex an elixir strong enough to resurrect the dead, the pair taunt each other unmercifully. Knowing these taunts usually end in heated sexual encounters, Rachel and Morgan, never the less unravel the text and begin the journey.

Ms. Philippa Grey-Garou and Emery Sanborne have succeeded in writing an exciting and interesting tale. The heated witty exchanges between Rachel and Morgan always have a hint of sexual innuendo that betrayed their mutual attraction, their warring an attempt to cool their passions. The initial plot takes a turn enabling Rachel the chance to save Morgan from himself and the plot changes yet again. The sex between these two can ignite fires in many a reader’s hearth.
