ALL MY DREAMS Widowed Loryn works away her mourning on her new property in Majorca, intent on making her farm a success. While she does not quite prune and press olives for oil with the area’s most experienced of farmers, she is grateful to have the skilled but aging Ramon for guidance. Yet she realizes Ramon will not be around forever and that fact serves only to deepen her acknowledgement of her losses. Derek, the film's producer, proves a pleasant enough distraction for Loryn when the film crew threatens to tear down ancient olive trees or commit other atrocities. When Derek is forced to stay with Loryn in the house due to a hotel reservations mix-up, the young window frets for her self-control. Derek is handsome, in tune to her likes and dislikes and quite smitten as well. The centuries-old manse purchased with insurance settlements is in need of refurbishing and Loryn finds some aid in the form of a movie producer willing to fund some of the renovations in exchange for using the house in his latest work. While Loryn is amazed to see the house's physical transformation to its original glory, it is with some pangs of sadness as well because no family exists to appreciate it with her. A sensual read, Ms Mueller's All My Dreams is a delicious story of second chances offered in the most exotic and unexpected of places. The tension between the lovers is as real as the passion.
