Honor McLean has just attained the position at the Manor to manage the owner’s recent moneymaking proposal. What better way to get to see how the other half lives while basking in some classy lifestyle?
Guy Portias is heir to Eversleigh Manor and realizes they need money for renovation but wishes there could be another way than what his mother plans. He hopes by shooting a hot new TV series at Eversleigh will help. However, when Honor steps into his life, fireworks spark.
Richenda Fox is the star of the hot new TV series Lady Jane Investigates and is engaged to Guy.
Madeline Portias, Guy’s mother plans to run the Country Home Weekends and hires Honor to help with the catering.
Honor has a marvelous aptitude for handling most circumstances and when Madeline Portias hires her to work at the Manor, she is thrilled. She only wishes her ex-boyfriend would stop behaving like a vulture and Madeline’s son would cease getting her dander riled. After a drunken stupor, Guy irrationally proposes marriage to Richenda. With so many women getting under his collar and one really starting to stir a burning interest in his heart, Guy has his hands full with decisions, one being if he can retract a proposal.
An Eligible Bachelor is a most delicious story. Honor and Guy are wonderful, sexy, and exchange banter that zooms with enticement throughout the pages. The secondary characters are well rounded, some in the love to hate category, yet they bring depth to the storyline. Ms. Henry makes the English countryside come alive in this incredible read that is truly magnificent. She weaves interesting characters with unusual names that really make an amazing read, a terrific plot and star studded conversation that makes this a frolicking tantalizing delight.
