Luke Halestrom is a reporter, but he cannot figure out the family history of a curse. He is a handsome man and really likes being a bachelor. Not sure he will ever settle down, Bianca comes as a surprise to him. Now he must decide what he wants for his life and whether he can handle the truth.

Halestroms and Honeywells have been linked for centuries. It all started when Celia Honeywell was hung and a curse given. Bianca has been trying to take care of it, but all the other reporters that came to town only turned her words against her. But when Bianca shakes Luke’s hand, she has a vision of Celia. She wants to know the truth, but finds herself attracted to him. Can Luke see who Bianca really is?

Witchcraft is looked down upon, but Bianca only does good with it. Luke is a seeker of truth but really needs to open his mind in order to find it. Together they find love and a passion so hot, it overwhelms them. Ms. Calvin is a wonderful writer who really gives you a feel for the characters. They learn that truth heals and secrets can only hinder things. It is a beautiful story and I loved all of it.
