Erotic Paranormal Romance
Rating: 3 Cups
Fauna Harper knows that she is considered different from the other faeries. Whenever she gets flustered by a man, she disappears.
Cooper Black finds Fauna’s clumsiness endearing, and he wants to get to know her better. But first he has to find a way to break the news that he is not as normal as she thinks he is.
Fauna has been trying to stay away from Cooper because every time she sees him, she immediately disappears. But when a security job sends them to a place where they will have to share a room for two weeks, she decides to take the initiative and get over her disappearing act. Cooper knows he has to come clean to Fauna about exactly who and what he is, but he is afraid that once he has, her feelings for him will change. Can he get the sexy faery to see him as the man she has fallen in love with and not the creature she is prejudiced against?
I really liked how Ms. Watts has included the element of prejudice within the pages. Fauna is shown as a woman used to being put down because of her ineptitude when it comes to her faery powers. Cooper is a man who is keeping a major secret from his lover about who he is. You also have the danger that is spattered throughout the novel which gives the plot an adventurous feel. Boiling Point mixes fantasy with erotica making this an enticing tale.
