Brendon has a reputation. He holds the magical record for being the world's tallest leprechaun. He is the son of a leprechaun and a fairy queen. His family are the best shoemakers in the land. Most of leprechauns are only three feet tall. Brendon does not understand why he has been cursed with his large size. Then one day he is sent to deliver stock to Greenhill Castle. He is the first one to be able to best the ogre on the road to his aunt's Famous inn for Magical folk visiting Ireland.

Helga a Valkyrie a large statuesque beauty is visiting Ireland with her three Viking Friends, Thor, Loki and Balder. When she hears of the ogre terrorizing some of the guests at the Inn she sets off to challenge him. She mistakes Brendon for the ogre.

At first, Brendon is not thrilled when he meets Helga, after all, she had kicked the legs right out from under him. However, as he got to know her he realizes that she just might be the only woman for him. The small fairies that he asked out were too intimidated by his size, and one actually laughed in his face when he asked her out. The two fall very much in lust with each other, but Loki is determined to play his tricks to keep them apart.

Ms. Hill creates a fun fantasy. She adds romance, humor and adventure to the mix. The reader is held captive from beginning to end. I thoroughly enjoyed the romp.
