DESIGNS ON A WARRIOR
Wolves of East Anglia, Book 4
Liquid Silver Books
Rating: 4 Cups
Cydney has graduated from college and is off to the UK with her British roommate. It is time to kick up her heels and grab life for all it is worth, including a summer Mr. Right. When she meets the one who makes her heart pop, Wulfric, he makes her wait while promising he will deliver later.
Wulfric is shocked when someone who might smell like his mate grabs his crotch. Shocked and thrilled at her attitude, he hates putting her off for a day. As they get to know each other, he wants to make sure Cydney is completely into him, before he lets her know who and what he is.
As Cydney and Wulfric spend more time together, their sexual attraction builds, as does their romance. When evil threatens them and those they care about, worrying about the future is brushed aside. They must work together, but what will happen once the danger is abated?
I like Designs on a Warrior, though parts seem familiar. Still, for me it is an enjoyable book. The characters are grand, while the supporting parents are developed. The story is compelling and entertaining. Readers are involved with the action and the sex (really good), but will also stay interested in the romance and character development. The dialogue fits perfectly with the Trans-Atlantic characters. The correct use of “Oi” as a precursor to the fight is brilliant. Ms. Chenery has really written a great book, and I look forward to the next one in the series.
