Madison O’Donnell is terrified of dying, just as her father did, and she is desperate to find the perfect love in the time she has left. Desperately seeking the perfect man will get her into a situation that she never thought possible.
T. Laurence Hobbs is what tax accountants should be. He is organized almost to a fault. The only thing he does not have in the right place is his love life. However, that is about to change when he decides that Madison needs saving.
T Laurence likes everything in its place, including his personal assistant. However, he thinks that Madison’s place is with him. Madison wants to get her “T Larry” taken care of before she dies, no matter what her feelings are for him. To have one last fling, she agrees to go out on a blind date that has the potential of becoming something much more dangerous. T Laurence thinks that she is being stalked, but she refuses to believe it. However, the question is, can he use the same skills that make him a great tax accountant to woo Madison before it is too late? He is going to have to use all his skill at deductions to make one and one add up to two people perfect for each other.
This hilarious office romance has it all; lawsuits, stalkers, and the danger of imminent death make it even more interesting, not to mention some seriously heated love scenes. I like that Madison sees the real man behind T Laurence’s outward appearance. That he feels she needs someone who is not so boring is endearing. The most fun is getting to the point where they both see that maybe they are just right for each other. This sweet, funny romance makes you both happy to read the last page and sad to see it all end.
