HERO AT LARGE

Chris Nelson is a skating coach. She used to be a world class skater, but with the birth of her daughter several years ago, her career has taken a different path. She is feisty and red headed and has an adversarial relationship with her car.
Ken Callahan is a bit scruffy for a knight errant, but handsome nonetheless. He, his Rottweiller and his pickup truck were in the right place at the right time.
Chris and Ken meet early one morning over the carcass of her car. One broken arm later, and he is living in her home with her family. The course of true love is even less smooth than usual in Ken and Chris’s case. No one ever pictured Cupid to look like Aunt Edna.
This is a very quick moving and entertaining romance. Chris and Ken have immediate chemistry despite their disastrous first meeting, and things only heat up from there. Of course there have to be some complications along the way and the author has come up with a doozy here. The characters range from quirky to downright bizarre in the case of Aunt Edna. I really enjoyed this story and laughed out loud in more than one place.
