Erica DeLongpre is a Southern belle with her own will. For too long, she has lead the life her parents have wanted for her because she did not want to upset anyone, but now, she is going to live the life she wants. She starts medical school soon and dreams of working in the indigent care field and living beyond the Virginia society life planned for her.

As the eldest son, Damián Xérès is dedicated to his family and successfully runs their sherry businesses as well as the Andalusian horse breeding and training enterprise. He dominates the ring as a rejoneador, mounted bullfighter. He masters his horses and students almost as well as he handles the women in his life.

After journeying to Spain for classical horsemanship lessons and hopefully to buy the horse of her dreams, Erica is surprised to find a man who awakens her dormant sexual desires. She is happy to find that Damián is as skilled in the bedroom as he is in the training barn, and even though both their families would disapprove of the scandal if their affair were discovered, they cannot keep their hands off one another. Do they have a future or only these few Hot Spanish Nights?

Bianca Swan gives her readers a feverishly fierce erotic romance. Damián is a strong and skilled hero who stole my heart with his dedication to his family and his animals. When he confesses his scholarly delectation, I believe he became the perfect man. Having myself never been one of those girls who dreamed of horses, after reading this searingly sexy short story, count me a fan of the magnificent animals and the men who master them. What that gorgeous Spaniard can do on the back of a horse takes my breath away. Erica is a complex heroine, who I had to remind myself was young and sheltered to an extent. I know that it was more of a business arrangement than a love match, but I could not help feeling sorry for Erica's man at home and it also colored the way I felt about her and her actions. This was a fantastic story that ended a bit abruptly, but I highly recommend it to heat up a cold winter night.
