Sage Anderson was once a pediatric surgeon; she is now a very successful artist. She is beautiful with auburn hair. She is suffering from PTSD due to a horrific incident in Africa while with Doctors Without Borders.
Colt Rafferty is also an artist who sculpts in wood. That is the tall dark and handsome chemical engineer’s hobby. His day job is to promote safety in work sites, but unscrupulous and dishonest people are making his job more difficult, and tragedy results more and more often.
Sage has given up her career as a doctor after a horrific incident in Africa and still suffers from nightmares. She has moved to Eternity Springs and is slowly healing, helped by good friends and a career as a painter of fantasy scenes. She is still extremely traumatized and avoids children and relationships. Colt Rafferty barges into her life and will not leave. He is determined to help the woman he has come to love and to find healing in Eternity Springs for himself also.
This story will appeal to fans of both inspirational and contemporary romance. Sage is an extremely troubled woman who has more issues than just the incident in Africa to overcome, but Colt is a very determined man. The subplot of Sage’s relationship with her sister, Rose, adds another layer to the story. The town of Eternity Springs is a perfect setting for this story, and Celeste Blessing is an interesting and mysterious character. I particularly enjoyed the little Bichon Snowdrop and Sage’s mischievous costumes. My own Bichon has a sense of humor and would enjoy that also. Eternity Springs and its inhabitants are very welcoming, and I look forward to visiting there again.
