HUNGRY LIKE THE WOLF
New Concepts Publishing
Erotic Paranormal Romance
Rating: 3 Cups
Nicole thinks she wants her ex-husband Joe back and decides the only way to do it is to make him jealous. She figures the best way is by involving the sexy brothers who were hired to restore her house.
Hugh and Byron Jakman notice the sexy Nicole right from the get go. But they also know that her ex-husband has trouble written all over him.
When Nicole propositions the brothers by asking them to help her make Joe jealous, they are not sure if they should be offended or turned on. Deciding that maybe by involving her sensual nature, the brothers can have her falling for them, they agree. They never expected to fall so hard for her so fast. When trouble starts finding them as well as Nicole, they have to ask themselves if it is just coincidence or something more deadly. When Joe starts coming around again, will Hugh and Byron lose the woman they have fallen for or will Nicole finally wake up and realize what stellar men she has already in her arms?
Hungry like a Wolf is one seriously sizzling story. The hedonistic edge that is intertwined in the pages will get you going and have your body ablaze very fast. However, I found Nicole’s character to be weak, especially when it came to dealing with her mother. This was the main reason why it was so hard for me to enjoy the otherwise tantalizing tale. I think that Ms. Monroe has a great concept and nailed the villains as well as the heroes. With a little more tweaking on the female character, I think she would have one outstanding story.
