Little by little Natalya Stravinsky is slowly being allowed access to family gatherings, yet it pains her that the Pack still sees her as weak and inferior. Group therapy is helping with the anxiety and OCD, although Nat will really have to buck up if she is going to pass the trials to get accepted into the Pack.
Adhering to the Code and putting the Pack first is why Thorn is in this predicament. It tears him up to see the pain in Nat’s eyes, knowing he put it there and is continuing to do so.
If there is any way Nat can help her father she is going to do it, despite the clawing fear that is threatening to strangle her. With her friend’s help, especially Nick’s, Nat tries desperately to clear her father’s moon debt, but like everything else in her life, nothing is going as it should. Nat feels like the world is closing in her as the Pack trials and Thorn’s marriage loom closer. She will never forget her love for Thorn, yet she must shove those feelings aside if she is to ever gain respect and win her place within the Pack.
Poor Nat has more in common with a Chihuahua than she does a werewolf. This girl is such a shivering quivering mess of nerves and neurosis; it is no wonder the Pack is ready to give her the boot. She does, however, have a huge heart, and is willing to try no matter how often or how hard she falls. I would love to see her break out of her shell, and really blossom into a kick ass heroine.
