LIVING FOR THE ACT
BDSM, Sci-Fi, Romance
Rating: 3 Cups
Ferris is a simple man from a primitive planet. Kidnapped out of the arms of the woman he loves, forced to work in a brothel and submit all will to a species ruled by women.
Mysan is a scientist for her people. She has always followed the rules until the day Ferris is brought to her laboratory.
The world is ruled by women because a war by man almost caused the complete extinction of their race. Now a war among women may be the final blow to a race already almost extinct.
Living for the Act is an interesting book despite the bogged down feeling in the story. There were parts of the book that seemed to drag and led to waning interest. The abrupt end of the book left me confused and wondering what happened. I love a good series but appreciate it when there is a wrap up of one story and a set up of the next story. A story worth reading so long as the reader expects the abrupt ending and is patient enough to wait for the next book in the series.
