Karrie Kline faces one setback after another when it comes to finding the right man. As a creative actress, she finds it hard locating that one prince who would bring complete happiness. When she thinks she has found the perfect man, the pond goes dry. So, shifting positions in her life, she decides she has kissed her last frog.
Gary Waks was that one boy who never got the kiss when playing spin the bottle. Years later, when he has matured into an even better person, he wonders if Karrie will even notice.
Karrie learns the hard way about disappointments as she goes through from relationship to another. After doing an internet search for the all-complete male, she only learns that meeting online men can still turn into heartaches. With only one thing left to do, she gathers pen in hand and creates a one-woman show with all her dating stories, remembering Lee and Rodney, but never forgetting Gary. From the first time she ever became interested in a boy, to her latest strikes with meeting men, she spills her heart out, the whole time never once forgetting what it would have been like if she had kissed Gary. When the final curtain closes and she finds herself in the confines of a most handsome man, she is surprised with the results. Perhaps this is one time the pond will not go dry.
Looking For Mr. Goodfrog is a feel good book. The reader gets to know the character and what is spinning in her head through her memories. Ms. Graff pens an enchanting read with a woman out to discover what she wishes in life. She spins a yarn that touches the heart, while bringing laughter or a tear. This is a slice of life that spins with creativity.
