Ex pro-football player Troy Barrington feels his age and dwindling bank account closing in on him. He inherited a strip mall in a prime location, but his hands are tied concerning the leases his uncle signed. Seeing After Hours, his first thought is that more than massaging is going on in back. Seeing Peggy, he wonders how much she charges.

Peggy, the only girl kicker in her high school and college teams, now coaches the girls’ football team and gives massages at the spa in the evenings. Troy spies on After Hours, hoping to break their lease. He plans to open a sporting goods store, and they have the prime location. While he is used to women throwing themselves at him, Peggy seems immune to his charms. He wonders how this zany redhead scored a direct hit to his heart.

Ms Kendall always balances heat and hilarity perfectly. This time, she surpasses even herself. Peggy is wickedly real, and Troy is ‘a real man’, for lack of a better term. However, he was not overbearing because he was such a good man. This wonderful story tugs at your heart before making you hoot with laughter. You will have your fan set on high as you go for a glass of ice water to cool off. I recommend Midnight Oil to anyone that enjoys laughter and love all rolled into one.
