Lexi Foster has always been the quiet, button down, conservative type. A near death accident leaves her with scars both inside and out. Lexi decides it is her time to live for the moment; so she listed some fantasies and things she wants to do. One of the first things is to let her old boring job go. She applies for the position of administrative assistant for a Private investigator. But when Lexi sees the boss, Nick Delaney, she decides she could be marking off a couple of those fantasies with Nick involved.

When Lexi came in to apply for the job, Nick knew he should not hire her. One, she is over-qualified, and two, she would be more of a distraction than he needed. With no other takers and growing attraction to Lexi, he decides on a trial period. But after one day, Nick wonders what he has gotten himself into.

As Lexi and Nick work together, they get along just fine, they start getting close, but Lexi wants a no strings affair. After she leaves here, she is going to Spain, and at first that is fine with Nick, but as the time went on, Nick’s heart gets involved. Nick always heard if you love something set it free. Well he was setting Lexi free; he just hoped she had enough love in her heart for him to come back.

This is a fast paced, sexy romance. These characters ensnare you from the beginning. As Lexi goes through her change, you understand what she is feeling, as well with Nick as he falls in love. Extremely entertaining with snappy dialogue and endless action, you do not want to miss out. Last, but certainly not least, Spicy sex scenes evenly placed tie up this story nicely.
