Native American, Julie Fox is a doctor on the Oregon Coast who struggles with a secret in her past that still leaves her with pain and faces that haunt her. When Kyle approaches her for an interview on any evidence on chronic disease she assures him, she really is not an information source.
Kyle Summer is a writer who has traveled from Atlanta to Oregon for answers on an illness that disturbs millions like him. The former All American football player hopes that Julie can give him answers to a baffling disease that allows people to fall apart.
Julie suffers from a family loss that triggers disturbing memories. After losing her fiancé, she continues with her medical practice. Kyle employs Julie to help with a book that he is working on about a chronic fatigue that plagues many people with extreme muscle ache and a lethargic feeling that is a constant battle. A terrible disease also affects the mind. As the two begin to work on the project, things open in a new direction for Julie as she finally confronts her own fears while she and Kyle share their own discovery.
Oregon Re-released is a read that stirs the emotion in many ways. Kyle and Julie are engaging characters that are strong as they search their pain for an inner peace. I found myself relating to the story in many ways with loss and the extreme pain that many battle. Clay Renick writes a book that reaches out to many in some way. It is well worth the read and touches the heart while allowing the reader to see a glimpse into an unusual pain. He pens a magnificent read filled with hope, love and coming to terms that should not be missed.
