Historical Erotic Romance
Rating: 3 Cups
Lady Prudence Mayville knows she is considered a spinster. While she wants love and marriage just as much as the next person, she feels her looks are a deterrent to her finding that special someone to share her life with.
Kolton, Earl of Ravensbrook is a man who is used to the finer things in life. After a night of overindulgence, he wakes up in Prudence’s bed with blood on the sheets as well as a certain region of his body.
Prudence cannot believe the night of passion she experienced with Kolton. When he wakes up and tries to convince her to marry him for the sake of her honor, she knows she must decline. Though she has loved him for quite some time, she refuses to marry for anything less than love. Kolton decides the only way to convince Prudence to marry him is to seduce her into seeing how compatible they are in the bedroom.
Persuading Prudence is a hot number that hit me in the right spots. I loved the historical aspect of this tale along with the eroticism of the novel. Prudence is a woman who had some major issues throughout this book and I was glad to see Ms. Cole address them and have them solved as well. Kolton is the epitome of what a rake must have been like during that era. You will enjoy reading this tale full of romance, heat, and love.
