SAINT JILLIAN’S REBEL
Rating: 4 Cups
Jillian Lawson returns home for her twentieth High School Reunion thanks to her daughters constant pestering to have some fun. She is not certain if that will happen if she runs into the guy who nicknamed her Saint Jillian because of her ‘good girl’ behavior.
Hunter Scott has his own reason for attending the reunion. Its payback time for Jillian for the way she treated him years ago. It is revenge he desires, but when the opportunity strikes, he wonders can he go through with his plans.
Jillian decides to take her daughter’s advice and maybe have some enjoyment at the reunion. It might even give her the chance to get back at a guy who broke her heart. Older now and wiser, she cannot forget the memories of that one night she was stood up. Hunter recalls how Jillian was kind to him even though he often teased her. He was always half way in love with her until the day she humiliated him. For five years, he has attended every reunion waiting for her and this year she finally arrives. Still reeling over the rejection, now he intends to make her pay, as both are out to settle the score.
Saint Jillian’s Rebel is a charming read. This reader enjoyed the mature characters of Jillian and Hunter as they confront something that happened in the past while coming to terms with a love that has grown with same interests that are now shared together. Times may have changed with people aging gracefully, but the love the characters hold for each other travels through time making their sensations sizzling and romantic in this heated tale where Ms. Jameson fashions a captivating read. She pens a fiery good well-written read that really stands out.
