Gwyn Murphy is hoping she can make a ten minute drive in only five minutes and that her favorite trooper is not waiting to give her a ticket. The trip she needs to make in that short amount of time turns into a fateful delay that changes her life forever. When her car ends up in a ditch on that rainy day, it is not Trooper Rick that arrives on scene, but her future.
Trooper Aidan Loughlin is on duty instead of his colleague who knows the driver of the accident he stops at very well. He saw the accident and pulls over to assist the driver not realizing the consequences. Literally, from the moment they meet, lightning sizzles between him and the lady in the car as well as the unusual storm continues to rage around them.
Neither realizes it is a part of an ages old fate manifesting itself between them through the storm and the twist of the accident. Neither do they know that their lives were purposely thrown together. What they do understand is a literally sizzling, sparking attraction between them that feels more than right and are more than willing to act on it.
The story starts with a brief whisper of a curse foretold, and leads to some modern day, sparks flying chemistry that sears the pages as it unfolds. The attraction between these two blazes and heats up quickly. Fate is welcomed as each of the characters are in the other’s lives. This story is a perfect treat a little sizzle and spark just what a reader wants.
