SQUEAK AND A ROAR This time his father and the other Elders have finally gone too far, but it seems that there is nothing Gavin Ashby nor anyone else can do to stop them. They are all now forced to find mates, or risk execution, and Gavin is not sure which would be worse. He should be terrified, and a small part of him is, but Anthony Marino still desires the beautifully fierce lion. The one thing he will never tolerate though is abuse, and if push comes to shove, Ant will walk, no matter who the man is. The thought of having to take a mate has Gavin so enraged he can barely see straight, but a small beautiful voice tempers his fury. Gavin and Ant quickly discover how much they have in common, and when Ant suggests the unthinkable, Gavin stuns them both by agreeing. Thinking that this is the best solution he could have ever hoped for, Gavin easily forgets who put them in this situation, until his father comes crashing back into his life. As the pride’s leader Gavin’s father wants him as his successor, and he will remove anyone or anything that stands in the way of his plans; even a mate. This is one pair that is so incongruous that they actually fit, and it takes a wonderfully warped imagination to envision them. It is always the quiet ones you have to watch out for, and believe me Ant has the power to bring his big bad lion to his knees. Gavin tries to play the cold hearted jerk, but with Ant’s influence, it is easy to see why Gavin mends his ways. The sexy vibe running through this story makes me quite sure the rest of this series will be well worth the wait. Lototy
