SURVIVING WITH LOVE
REBECCA J VICKERY
Class Act Books
Rating: 4 Cups
Cord McConnell is the best of the best when it comes to extracting people from difficult situations. When he gets a call from a senator to find and retrieve his kidnapped grandsons, Cord leaves for Idaho to meet with the best tracker around.
Stacey Parker knows that her looks are deceiving. Most of the time men see her as a cute and cuddly woman, not some tough as nails outdoorswoman.
When Cord sees Stacey and realizes she is the best tracker, he does not expect much help. To his surprise, he finds her to be just as good as everyone says. Stacey finds Cord extremely attractive and the scars on his face and body just add to his rugged good looks. They will find that fighting the wildlife, elements, and bad guys is just the tip of their problems as they fight to retrieve two lost boys and stay one step ahead of the murderers on the loose in the mountains and wilderness of Bitterroot.
Ms. Vickery wrote an action-packed story full of so many events my head would not stop spinning. The way Stacey and Cord have a push and pull attraction toward each other was fantastic to read. The only downfall with this story was how everything was in detail, even what clothing Stacey was going to wear. Surviving with Love overall is a great story that will have you on the edge of your seat. A very nice read with enough romance to keep readers intrigued and with enough action to keep you in suspense.
