Madeline is unaware that Teague, to save his own neck, is being forced to spy on her by the corrupt sheriff and judge of the town. These men want to bring her down by setting her up for a fall. What Teague never planned on was to fall in love with Madeline or for her to give him back his soul. He continues to fight his feelings for her, not willing to open up his heart and have it broken again. Madeline, devastated by his betrayal when Teague confesses his sins to her, eventually devises a scheme to catch the corrupt men at their own game.

Ms. Williamson has developed a very interesting story that will have you anxious to reach the conclusion. It is always wonderful to see good triumph over evil. The beautiful lessons this author wrote about so Teague could show Madeline the carnal delights of the flesh will have you breathless. This is a book you will definitely want to read.
