Rating: 3 Cups
Months turn to years and still Mason is no closer to finding a way to be rid of his curse.
As hard as it is for him to believe this is really happening, Niall must accept the truth. What he will not admit is that there is no cure.
Each month that passes reaffirms Mason's fears that he will never find peace from the beast raging inside him. Even accepting help from Niall, who is also looking at a life of uncontrollable changes, scares him into wanting to run. The thought of hurting Niall while in his wolf form is intolerable, so it will be better for all if he could just disappear.
Teetering on the edge of despair, Mason is beginning to feel that the only way out is death. His depression weighs heavily in this story, which makes Niall's role so crucial. He forces Mason to think beyond the horror of his past and maybe even to envision a future. Their time together is fraught with endless challenges, so that each little tender moment between them feels that much more special.
