Teagan O'Meara grew up knowing that a stranger with magical powers visited her from time to time. But it was not until she was in college that she learned the true nature of her secret visitor.
Ro'na'n O'Dubhghaill was a prisoner to an old witch. She kept him held captive, tortured him, and taught him everything he knew.
It was after he received the magic pebble that Ro'na'n learned to escape his bounds and finally have some freedom. His greatest joy was visiting Teagan, and he did so very often. But when his world comes crashing into hers, can they find away to save Ro'na'n from the witch, or will he be her slave forever?
The Pebble is a magical tale that sweeps you up and drags you along within its pages. It is well written, and the characters are a very magical part that helps blend the past and present of this story together. Though about half way through the book, the story involves into something quite unexpected, and to me seemed to not quite fit together right. Overall it is a nice read and worth the time.
