To have Ryan out of their lives forever.
I absolutely adored this sequel to To Find and To Keep. I was really hoping that Ms. Yates would tell us the rest of Ryan and Daniel’s story, and boy, let me tell you she did not disappoint! This author can write angst like nobody’s business, and the ever deepening emotions between Ryan and Daniel just kept me turning the pages. I could not put this book down until I had read the final page. The way that Ryan’s parents are written is so true to form for some parents of young gay men, that it is not long before you are feeling like you want to do them some bodily damage for what they did to Ryan. I loved how they got their comeuppance in the end! The tender lovemaking between Ryan and Daniel coupled with the deep emotions really makes this a stellar read as well. If you have not read any of Serena Yates’ books, I highly recommend this one and her others. She is quite simply not to be missed.
