Angel Parker works for Brian Maxwell, CEO of Maxwell’s Department Store. As the owner’s personal assistant, she has to make sure that everything is running smoothly behind closed doors. With the holiday approaching, everything that can go wrong seems to be doing just that.
When Brian hears that their Santa is sick with pneumonia on the day their Christmas display is to be unveiled, his stress level shoots through the roof. But with Angel by his side, they soon have everything running smoothly and can get on with planning the annual Christmas party for the staff.
While walking down the hallway, Brian overhears Angel talking about him playing in her sexual fantasies and thinking about propositioning him. Considering his personal assistant has starred in all of his nightly fantasies, he jumps at the chance to take her to bed, but on one of her conditions. They must get all of their fantasies out within twelve days and then just go back to being the boss and the assistant. What will happen when Angel realizes she has fallen for Brian even as he contemplates sending her to another state to work in a different store?
Ms. Robinson has outdone herself with this amazing holiday story. One of the distinctive traits of Twelve Days of Bliss is that both main characters are described as being a “scrooge”, which gives this old tale a unique and new twist. I have fallen in love with both Brian and Angel, especially as they struggle to keep their feelings aloof even as they begin to fall in love. The complications of their everyday lives are both heartbreaking and realistic, making this story that much more believable and emotional. With erotic scenes full of passion and a love story that will have you sighing, you do not want to miss this Christmas tale that is sure to be a favorite among readers for many years to come!
