Victoria Brentwood is so happy and in love, ready to celebrate her one year anniversary. She is eager to share some news with Christian until an explosion changes everything.
Christian Brentwood wants Victoria to always remember he loves her forever. He carries a secret that he cannot reveal. By keeping the truth from her, it may cost his marriage.
Victoria cannot believe her happiness has turned to sorrow. It is the saddest day of her life. She no longer can share her bed with the man she loves, nor tell him about the pregnancy. She has to return to work to help pay the bills. When it comes time for the baby, she longs for Christian. More importantly she wonders why, after a year, it is taking so long to solve Christian’s case. Victoria is completely shocked when Christian returns. No, she saw the explosion. He died, this is not some illusion. Christian tries to explain why he had to fake his death, but Victoria will not hear it. As they struggle to try to regain the time they have lost, Christian is eager to spend time with his child and Victoria, but Victoria is not going to make it easy for him.
Until Death Do Us Part is full of gusto, pizzazz and is a total page-turner. Victoria wins hands down when it comes to emitting emotions. When she learns about Christian’s death, the sensations that run through her, with the tears and the misery, can be felt by this reader. Shiela Stewart captures Victoria’s fear and struggles while making her a genuine. I love the spunk and tenacity that the couple plays throughout the story, making them appear so life-like. Ms. Stewart writes a captivating tale with rich dialogue that kept this reader on the edge of the seat.
