As Caleb works with a young couple, he calls in Amanda to talk to the young lady. But it seem now is time for troubles for everyone. The more Caleb and Amanda try to deny the desires and feelings between them, the more Caleb finds himself drawn deeper. When Amanda finds out what Caleb has been holding back, she is furious. And Caleb figures if she cannot forgive him for this, would she forgive him for his very own secret?
Ms. Woods has once again penned a tale full of emotional depth and powerful history. Extremely well written characters along with very strong secondary characters are the foundation of this tale. Ensnared from the beginning, Waking up in Charleston is an inspirational and heart-warming story that involves the whole of this small town. Tender romantic scenes and very touching moments will bring a tear to your eyes with emotional pull that has you captured until the end. An absolutely great read to curl up.
