When Adelaide, the captain of a pirate crew, takes over a merchant's ship, she discovers a chest filled with expensive jewelry hidden beneath the floorboards. She realizes that the merchant, Silas, is more than meets the eye. He has been stealing from royalty, and she wants the rest of his treasure. The more she questions him, however, the more she realizes that it's not just booty she is after.
The door opened and Silas saw Adelaide step into the room. She had removed her wide-brimmed hat, and he saw her face clearly for the first time. Her eyes were a sharp blue, her lips fat and full, and she had a fine blush to her cheeks that only came with being out at sea. She really was a beauty. It was too bad that she wanted to kill him.
"Silas," she said, saying his name and looking straight into his eyes. She licked her lips hungrily.
"Captain Adelaide," he said, standing up.
I'm going to show Adelaide why the women in bars call me Seducer when they don't know my real name. He stepped forward, grinning in a sultry way that he knew would cause any female heart to melt.
The back of the ship was empty. Adelaide sighed in relief. At least she could have her bath in peace, and she was right next to the anchor, so if any of her men tried to commit mutiny and leave her, then she would know before he even began turning the wheel.
She left her clean clothes and her wool towel by the ship wall, and then she began to take off her old, sweaty outfit and allowed it to fall to the floor. The cool sea breeze caused goose bumps to dance across her tanned skin. She grinned and shut her eyes before reaching behind her and undoing her bun, allowing her sweaty hair to fall down her back and down to her butt. As she stood there, she almost felt like the wind was seducing her.
Curiously, Silas peeked over the side of the ship expecting to see a fat fish jumping in the water, but instead he saw something else. Adelaide.
