It's raining Kisses, Hallelujah or is it?
Erin is venturing on a new vocation. Having just purchased a historic Inn, she is renovating the romantic inn. If her luck holds out, she plans on opening it as a bed and breakfast, with the help of her ruggedly handsome assistant, Darien.
They become immediate friends and work closely together.
After one grueling day of work, the week before the inn is due to open, a violent storm catches them by surprise and sends Erin into Darien's strong and waiting arms. Will passion take over?
Will the attraction between them grow and their friendship turn into love? Or will it peter out as if nothing happened?
The pouring rain drenched us and by the time we finally made it onto his front porch, we were both soaked. Our wet clothing clung seductively to our bodies. We laughed; finding amusement in having been caught by surprise by the storm which now enveloped us. Suddenly, another piercing bolt of lightning tore through the sky. Darien grabbed me and pulled me towards the front door and we quickly ran inside. A tremendous vibrating roar of thunder shook the house and reverberated eastward.
Darien's eyes were on me, following me as I slowly crossed the room. "Don't you think we should get out of these wet clothes?" he asked coyly. We were attracted to each other and openly acknowledged the fact. I felt comfortable with him and enjoyed the flirting and teasing.
"Well, I do declare, Mr. Erikson. I do believe you are undressing me with your eyes sir."
"How rude of me." Darien came close to me and curled a strand of my wet hair around his finger. He looked at me hungrily and swallowed hard. It satisfied me to think I had such an effect on him. Another tremendous crack of thunder startled me and sent me right into Darien's strong muscular arms. Then the electricity went out.
