Vestal Davis has a terrible crush on her supervisor, Cason Bridges. Cason does not realize Vestal exists until he uses her to make his ex-girlfriend jealous. Suddenly Cason becomes smitten by Vestal’s charming personality, and falls hard for her. After a few years, something about his past is still haunting him.

Finally, Cason goes back to his ex lover and Vestal finds herself out in the cold. When Karen takes Cason to see how terrible Vestal is getting along without him, Cason realizes he really did love her.

Will she take him back and is revenge really sweet?

Each day, Cason hovered around Vestal’s work station, trying her patience. His lean body moved about her, sparking her lustful interest. Suffering silently, Vestal sat on her chair, inhaled his aura, and watched Cason packing a special order. Following the movement of his tight frame, she held her stylus and whispered silently to herself. “Oh yeah. Come a little closer,” she begged. “That’s right, baby. A little closer. Now, turn around, let me see that ass.” Vestal smiled, nodded, and drew in her breath.  “There we go—don’t be so shy.”

Suddenly, Cason stood upright. “Did you say something?” He stopped working and faced Vestal.

“No.” Vestal lied, taking in his noble profile. “I just keyed in the wrong information. Darn it.”

Cason cocked his head to one side. “I could swear I heard someone talking.”

“Really? Vestal raised both brows. “I didn’t hear anything.” Then, she realized she was talking aloud. Once more, he lured her, she succumbed to his spell. Just look at you—you luscious piece of man. You make me talk out of my head. If you only knew what I was thinking, you’d fire my butt on the spot. Too bad you’re only interested in my work.

After sealing the box, Cason placed it on the floor then walked toward Vestal’s desk. “Are you finished yet?” He leaned over her shoulder to read her screen.

With the heat of Cason’s face near hers, Vestal scrolled her mouse to display her newest design. His energy levels were high—summoning lewd thoughts from her active memory. A shallow low growth reminded her of a long weekend on a deserted island.

He seems so interested. If I turn my face slightly to the left, my lips could accidentally brush his. Shifting in her seat, Vestal stifled the steam brewing in her lower regions.

Unexpectedly, Cason turned away. He walked across the room, picked up a small vinyl case, then returned to her desk. Absently, he picked up a sales catalog sitting on her desk. “I don’t know Vestal.” He held the case before her eyes. “This is model vi9467. They’re too similar. I think we need something a little more user friendly. What do you think?”

Cason was always physically too close. The urge to kiss him was overwhelming. Vestal inhaled, sorrowfully. “I’ll see what I can do.” She picked up the case and flipped it over. “You’re right. It isn’t very friendly.”

“Would you take charge of this, Babe?” He placed the case on her desk, his eyes searching for approval. She loved it when he called her babe.

“Sure. Cason. I’ll have something by tomorrow.”

Soon, Cason busied himself by opening a new shipment. Kneeling on one knee, he raked through the box searching for the shipping invoice. The shape of his muscular rear made Vestal bite her bottom lip. Look but don‘t touch? They must be kidding.
