Clive rolled the man over and punched him in the face again. The man returned a swing to the side of Clive’s head. He sat up, leaned over and picked up a heavy soap stone figurine from the floor. He raised it over his head, an evil grin on his face. His eyes gleamed with vengeance. He didn’t hear the shot. His stomach burned. Clive looked down to see blood pouring from a decent size hole in his torso.

            Clive rolled off the dark haired man. He looked at Kelly who had a shotgun in her shaky hands. His replacement quickly got to his feet and stood next to Kelly.

            “Who is this freak?” the man asked taking the gun from Kelly.

            “He’s my ex-husband, but he died on a subway accident four months ago.”

            Clive gripped his chest. “What?”

            Kelly ran to the drawer, pulled out a crinkled piece of newspaper and went to Clive’s side. She showed Clive the newspaper he had seen earlier on the subway.
