Her Virgin Voyage

Author(s): Laine Morgan

Olivia Martin finds herself thrust through time with a dangerous but sexy pirate, Diego, from the year 1472.  Whether fighting Indians on the ancient Florida coast, or battling the future’s laser-packing law enforcement, Olivia finds herself drawn to Diego more than anyone she had ever met in her own time.  But could she have Diego in her own time?  Could she even get back to 2009 at all?

Excerpt:

Diego stared at the unconscious beauty in his arms. Was it true?  Did he really travel through time?  His men would not like this development.  Already they sensed something was awry.  They were nothing but murderous cutthroats.  They had killed women and children in the past, and they would not hesitate to throw this woman overboard.

He sighed as he carried her down to his cabin.  He would have to take her back. Taking her across the sea would be too big a risk.  At the first sign of bad weather, his men would toss her into the surf.

He laid her on his bed. She was wet and shivering, her lips a pale blue.

The damp clothing must come off.  Shoving the almost unbearable lust from his mind, he tugged off her “bikini” bottom.  He averted his eyes from her crotch, not wanting to violate her privacy while she slept.

He grinned.  When she woke, it would be another story.

He stared at her top, wondering how he would get it off.  It looked tight, almost like a second skin. He pulled her up and wrestled the top over her head.  She was limp like a child’s rag doll.

He laid her back down, daring just one peek at her pert, rounded breasts. His cock jumped at the sight of her rigid rosy nipples.

By God, his heart warred with his body.

He forced himself to turn his head, to cross the room to his chest.  He opened it and took out one of his white linen shirts.

After he had slipped it over her head and pulled it down, he pulled back the quilt and covered her.

Her hair was damp, too, but that couldn’t be helped. Her hair was dark when wet, but as it dried, he could make out streaks turned blond by the sun.  It made her look even more like his Abby.  His throat constricted. The scars on his heart bled anew with this painful reminder.  Why had he done this foolish thing?
