Nikki is a true believer in the paranormal. On a dare from her friend Travis, Nikki drives up to investigate the ghost filled house. When a mysterious stranger appears out of the darkness to help, she only hesitates for a moment before following him back to Windham Manor.

Maggie laughed. “Do you think you can save her from me, William?” Maggie’s mouth drooped unnaturally down. Her head twisted back and forth so fast it would have broken a normal person’s neck.

“I will never let you hurt anyone ever again,” William vowed. “Never.”

Maggie’s head rolled around on her neck like a wayward marble. Snapping it back, she popped open her black orbs and peered at William. “Her essence is so strong. It could feed us both, my dearest William. All you have to do is bring her to me.”
