How many men could fly? Giggling, she wiped the tears from her eyes.

Lowering through the air, they floated down swiftly toward a mountaintop, and onto a balcony of a castle.

"Where are we?" Craning her neck she looked at the surrounding area and the sand colored stone castle.

"Your new home. You will feel better soon. You must rest while the poison is worked out of your system."

"Is that what is wrong?" Oh, of course she should have known to blame the poison, after all, it certainly could not be him, and her desire was still raging. But if she were dead…

Landing lightly, she dropped her legs from his body to settle on the balcony. Before her toes touched solid stone he was sweeping her legs up, and carrying her through an open balcony door into a candle-lit chamber.

"What are you talking about? Why would the poison matter now?"

"You want to climax before you go to sleep, I know. But that cannot happen because I almost waited too long. I watched you drink the poison, and waited to see if anyone would arrive to save you. When I was certain no one would come to your aide, I knew you were officially dead, and I could act." Setting her on her feet, he removed her coat, and then her clothes. His hands touched her impersonally, yet made her flesh sing with ecstatic tingles.

"Act?" Reaching for his cloak, she slipped it from his shoulders with shaking fingers. Never had her desire for another been so strong. Wanting to touch his flesh she reached for his shirt.

Grasping her wrists he stopped her movements.

"First things must come before second." Sweeping her up into his arms, he laid her on a huge bed.

"I am confused." Frowning, Selean looked around the chamber. A fire flickered in the fireplace. Heavy black draperies hung beside the balcony door, and over the window. It was a large room with Victorian furniture, and gold-framed pictures decorating the walls between sconces with tallow candles. "Wow. I am confused. It looks like a regular room. I mean not regular, a real room. A king would be proud to sleep in a room like this, but it's not what I expected heaven to look like."

"None of this is what you expected. No need to worry. All of your problems are over now, and I will explain all when you are better and thinking clearly." Sitting on the bed beside her, he lifted her arm, and wrapped a velvet-covered strap around her wrist, then closed it by looping the ends together, as one does for the first layer of a bow. There was nothing threatening about the wrapped strings because he didn't finish tying. Instead he dropped the dangling ends, as though finished. "This will prevent you from touching yourself."

"As long as you touch me, I will be happy."

Lifting her free hand, he strapped it loosely to the bed also. "I know you are filled with desire. We will get to that soon." His canine bit his lower lip; touching his finger to the blood drop.

It set her on fire. Hot heat burned into her womb, and spiraled up through her body. Her peaked nipples tightened more, her breasts ached with need, and her body throbbed double time. It was wild, like a drug in her system. His thumb stroked over the ache, and she cried out as the sensation ripped through her body, she was on the verge. She felt her insides tighten. She welcomed it with all of her body, another moment and she would be in heaven.

He removed his hand. "You cannot come."

"Wait a minute." She pulled at the restrains holding her arms, but they didn't budge. "What is happening?" She looked at her wrists; they were still tied in the innocently lashed velvet. Not knotted, or in a bow. What was holding her captive? Pulling her arms down using the weight of her body, she strained her muscles, but the innocently looped material didn't budge. "Oh heavens, am I in hell?"

"Some would call it hell."
