Jon, in his adolescence, loses his mother and brother to childbirth. In the fragile, young mind of the devoted son is born a desire that day, to become what his mother was, a physician. When he eventually becomes an Obstetrician, he stumbles upon the horrifying discovery that his mother’s Obstetrician was negligent in his management of her pregnancy and delivery.
