Excerpt

Well, it’s been a while, Diary. Let me catch you up. Despite how hard I tried, I wasn’t able to get over my neighborly addiction, Kyle. Sexy doesn’t even begin to describe him, with his practically shaved head and pierced ears. Just the thought of his blue eyes looking at me makes parts of my body just melt into a puddle. But I never could really figure out if he wanted anything serious or if we were just a convenience…
We won’t go into the mistakes I’ve made, most notably my coworker Jim or that waste of testosterone Chris…Okay, so, I really do want to rant about them (yes, still) but it just makes me so mad. Yes, still! I mean, come on, isn’t being single hard enough these days without fish-kissers or jerks who just want to cheat on their wives trying to grab a girl?
Then there was Jonathan, an honest-to-goodness model. The subject of many women’s fantasies and a hottie on who knows how many book covers. Hell, some of the fan fiction written about him could make even Sally blush! I really liked him, and he liked me. But we lived so far away from each other. And, hello, he was a model! How can I compete with some of the women he has throwing themselves at him?!
I still have a tendency to put my foot in my mouth, more often than I’d care to admit. But I guess we all have a specialty, right? Sally writes. Bryna…I’d rather not discuss her right now. And Cindy, well, she makes me laugh. I treasure her friendship, but she certainly has helped corrupt me.
And then there is the ex…*sigh* I could fill up multiple pages on him—none of it complimentary.
When I was a child, I was certain that as I grew up, things would get easier, everything would be better. Now, I find myself wishing I could go back to that simpler time…
But still get to have sex, like now…
