"Tasha…" Damien's whispering voice was low in her ear. His breath sent shivers down her arched spine as it traveled over her slick skin. Heat was pooling in her lower body as his fingers curled through the downy curls at the junction of her thighs. Sighing deep against the side of his neck, she could hear the alarm clock slamming through the cloud of passion that surrounded them.
Groaning violently as her digital alarm clock ripped her out of her dreams and back into the real world, Tasha cursed into the pillow. Pulling herself from sleep, she dove across the bed and slapped a hand down onto the snooze button. Laying in the glorious silence of her quarters, she sighed again. What was with these dreams?
Tossing her long legs out from beneath her sheets, she padded to the dresser. Pulling her workout gear from the pile, she slid her small feet into her runners. It maybe a Saturday, but her workout never took a backseat to anything. Quietly she moved from her room down the hall to Cole's door. The pair had become solid friends, often both lost in their silent memories. Internal wars, is what Cole called them.
Knocking softly, she waited as she heard heavy footfalls on the other side.
Damien had been enjoying his dreams. He was somewhere exotic with Tasha, exploring their carnal desires, when an alarm somewhere in the building went off—shocking him from his fantasy.
Hearing the tentative knock on the door, he hauled his ass off the floor to whip open the door. The last thing he had expected to find was the woman who had played through out his fantasies, dressed in a loose t-shirt and boy cut shorts.
"Yeah?" He asked, his voice still a growl from a decent sleep.
"Oh! I was looking for Cole." Seeing Damien half dressed, rubbing his open palm over his bared stomach caused Tasha's breath to catch in her throat.
"He's out on site. Some of the staff crashed out there after everyone left yesterday." He blinked a couple of times taking in her appearance. "Anything I could do for you?" To you? His mind returned momentarily to the dream he had been having.
"No, it's okay. I was just going running." She gave him a quick smile. "Unless you want to join me." Her words shocked her. Knowing she couldn't take them back, Tasha waited for his answer.
