In 1966 Mike and his Chicago buddies in Edgewater-Roger’s park needed a mentor and they got him in the personage of a Scoutmaster, a Korean War Army officer who wanted to give back what he had no choice but to take away long ago on the bloody battlefields of Korea.  This is a baby-boomer story about a mentor molded by war. It harkens back to the 1960’s and pays homage to Korean War Vets.
