The Countess grinned and was deeply proud of herself. It works every time, she thought to herself and he was a stupid ogre, for he didn’t even know her powers didn’t work here. It wasn’t long before five guards and the original came back to retrieve the bodies.

Four ‘kept her at bay’ with large swords while the other two removed the bodies. They got in and out as fast as they could and slammed the cell door behind them.

“Thank you and you will be safe from my spells for now,” the Countess yelled as all six quickly stomped up the hallway carrying the dead women but she couldn’t help snickering quietly to herself.
