Fleeing after being accused of raping Thea, a female servant, Straac comes across
men who are displaced Knights. They seek the Cursed Sword of Airiendal. Lonely
Castle is the resting place of the sword but once there, things begin to get weird. Straac
must now choose wisely whom he gives his allegiance to, for those he works for are not
what they seem and those he loves are not exactly the same.

Straac has always known life as a servant. His life is about to become more
complicated then ever and he must make decisions about his life and about falling in
love with Thea.

Thea helped Straac to escape after almost being executed when he was falsely
accused for her rape. Falling in love with Straac is not something she expected to do,
but she will help him anyway she can.

Reflections of a Recovering Servant is a strange story of searching for answers to
questions that seem to be out of reach. Straac has never had to think for himself and
after escaping with Thea; he finds that he must now begin. Thea also has the same
emotions, except she knows what she wants to achieve. These two characters are able
to find the answers and make a life that they have been looking for, even if it is not
exactly with each other. This story was for me, a fascinating and different aspect I have
never before read and a very good read.
