Growing up I was always taught to read and enjoy it. Well thanks to my mom, I do and in 2006 I read 187 books. Some people may think that is crazy when you are a mom of a little boy and you work part time, but I am addicted to books and reading is how I escape and relax. I never picked up a romance novel till I was 18 years old but I have grown to love them ever since. My one sticking point when it comes to books is that I have to read a series in order from start to finish. I try not to reread the previous books when a new book comes out cause with most series that takes too much time now. I read to my son and make sure to laugh with him.
I have too many favorite authors to list them all. I try to give every author I read a fair shot and do not make an opinion till the very last sentence. That way I can try all different genres out and see if it is something I like or if I will not pick up another book like it. I do prefer clean romance novels but then I do take a walk on the wild side from time to time. But sometimes I need a break from reading so then I chat online with dear friends, scrapbook, and stamp cards. I also write a blog online with reviews of books I have read along the way. I love getting my creative juices flowing in all aspects. I am looking forward to being a part of Coffee Time Romance and all the new stories it brings into my life.
