I was raised by a strong willed father and a stubborn mother in a college town in the Midwest. Between them and my older siblings I grew up as the person who sits back and watches, listens and shares my opinion after hearing everyone else's point of view. My parents ended up divorced when I was a child, and it made me a stronger person. It better prepared me for some of the turmoil I had to deal with later on in my life.
I love to read, hang out with friends and watch movies. My favorite genre of book to read are paranormal romance, shifter romance in particular. My favorite movies are horror movies, especially zombie flicks. My friends and I love them so much we get together for zombie movie weekends, and I know we're especially weird because we even have a game plan for when the Zombie Apocalypse happens. It becomes more and more elaborate every time we get together.
I also love to travel and since my family is currently scattered across the States I find a lot of opportunities to do it. I recently discovered that I've been to 23 out of the 50 states and truthfully, a smaller number of other countries than I want to see. I find that I don't have a favorite location to spend time in, except in the city that my niece and nephew live in. I love my life and am thankful for the opportunities I've had and strength my parents instilled in me.
